Stressed - 2004-06-27 Nick at Nite - 2004-06-25 Think Good Thoughts! - 2004-06-22 Turning Weakness Into Strength - 2004-06-20 Appearance - 2004-06-20 2003-07-07 - 1:47 a.m. - My Poor CD Player!! As usual, not too much of a day today, but it went pretty well. Work started off kinda shaky, but after a little discussion, any attempts at grounding my otherwise good mood were thwarted (good word, huh??). So yeah, all is safe in the galaxy, as long as the restaurant's happy. I drove around with a guy from work tonight for awhile, and it was really funny because all we talked about was work...usually, we don't do that, but I think there was enough building up that we just wanted to bitch for awhile and get it out so that we can be rid of it. It's kind of nice to do that every once in awhile, as we did get it all out and taken care of. I really need to do that more often, and he's real fun...he always takes me side! Muahahaha!! Or not...but yeah, very theraputic. Going home to surprise the folks tomorrow...I got kind of excited because one of the roommates has the week off for vacation (bastard...), so he asked if he could come with--which is really nice, because without the comforts of my wonderful CD player, I'm going to want some company. Ugh...my poor CD player!! Alas...I think I might try to get it cleaned, but if the son of a buck still doesn't work, methinks it's off to spend more money that I don't have. Ah, the American way...well, my family's way, anyway... But I think I should sleep, as I'd like to try and get home for dinner tomorrow (tee hee...I'm such a cheap thing...). Have a great evening, and hopefully--I'll have some kind of story to tell (and hopefully good...).
