Stressed - 2004-06-27 Nick at Nite - 2004-06-25 Think Good Thoughts! - 2004-06-22 Turning Weakness Into Strength - 2004-06-20 Appearance - 2004-06-20 2003-06-21 - 10:33 p.m. - Thunderstorms And "Road Rules" It's finally thunderstorming out. I have waited a long time for a good thunderstorm. This one is alright...not too much activity. I've been watching my little radar thinger on WeatherBug (yeah, the aforementioned nerd problem I have...), and it looks like it's breaking up. I don't know why I like them so much. They scare me, somedays. If I see what looks like tornado activity, it just sends chills up and down the ol' spine...but I love it. If I wanted to sound ridiculously poetic, I could say that it nurtures the chaotic recesses within. I don't know...either way, I love it. The sound, the visuals... I'm watching "Road Rules" on MTV right now, I'm a little disappointed because it's the same ones I watched earlier today. And two of the guys on there, well: Abe: you're kind of a hottie, but like some people I know personally, you talk straight out of your ass. Perhaps if you were muzzled, we could hang out. And all I have to say about Dave is: Damn! I could definitely live with that. He's not necessarily quiet, but when he speaks, it's rather rare, and he only speaks when he needs to be heard. Today wasn't much of anything, I'm afraid, but that was the awesome part. I didn't even get dressed until about seven tonight, and I probably wouldn't have even done that had I not needed to run for a couple groceries...but you know what I did today? I cooked! Like for-real cooked, and it turned out! Good, even!! I was excited...but I guess there has to be a first time for everything. Otherwise, it was a whole lot of sitting around and watching TV. I have to work 11-7 tomorrow, so I really hope I got the true amount of appreciation necessary out of today for it to last for a week, 'cause I go (with some damn long hours, I might add...) until next Saturday, so yeah. And then, I'm heading over to Minot for a wedding...yep, a nice, long, 5 hour drive to soothe the soul...or not. But anyway...yeah... Well, I think that's about as much mindlessness as I can fit in for now. I'm sure I'll have more brain-garbage for tomorrow, so stay tuned! More to come...peace out.
